COVID-19 Update: Branch Transactions Drive-Thru Only

To create more social distancing, beginning on Tuesday, March 17, we’re asking members to perform all branch transactions via the Drive-Thru lanes. Later this week we will have signage to identify “express lanes” for simple deposit and withdrawal transactions.
Loan Closing by Appointment
Metro is still open for loans. Many loans can be applied for, approved, and closed without even coming into the office. For those loan types where members do need to close in person, Personal Bankers in branches will be closing loans by appointment.
Mortgage Loan Operations
Mortgage Loan Originators and support staff are still taking applications, processing, and closing mortgage loans. We are experiencing delays with appraisals.
Ignore Banking Stories Trying to Cause Panic
There are bogus internet stories and scam emails about “banks freezing deposits” or “deposits disappearing”. These are written by bad actors or the poorly informed and are simply untrue. Metro is extremely safe and sound, and your accounts are insured to $250,000 by the NCUSIF, backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government.
