The Metro Credit Union Metro Days Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) Official Rules
NO PURCHASE, APPLICATION, OR USE OF SERVICES ARE NECESSARY TO WIN. A PURCHASE, APPLICATION, OR USE OF SERVICES WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Sweepstakes Period
Sweepstakes begins 12:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on July 31, 2023, and ends 4:00 p.m. CT on August 5, 2023.
2. Eligibility
This sweepstakes is open to consumers who are legal U.S. residents residing in any of the fifty (50) states, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older with a unique, personal, and valid government issued identification at the time of entry. All participants must accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor. Void in Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited by law. Employees and members of the Board of Directors of Metro CU Federal Credit Union (Metro Credit Union) are not eligible. Additionally, the immediate family (i.e., spouse, parents and stepparents, siblings and stepsiblings, and children and stepchildren) of Metro Credit Union Executives are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes an entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

4. How to Enter
All eligible individuals with a valid Metro Credit Union membership in good standing as of July 28, 2023, shall receive one entry per day during the duration of the Sweepstakes.
Also, non-members may submit an entry through US mail. On a postcard or a card that is 3 ½ x 5 inches or larger, legibly handwrite the words The Metro Credit Union Metro Days Sweepstakes, your complete name, mailing address, email address, phone number and date of birth and mail with proper postage to:

Metro Credit Union must receive mailed entries no later than July 28, 2023. Sponsor will not verify receipt of entries for entrants. The maximum number of entries allowed during the promotion is one per person per day. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
No entries will be accepted via email, a telephone call to a branch representative or a call center representative. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant or player. Sponsor reserves the right to contact entrants and all other individuals whose email address is submitted as part of this Sweepstakes.
5. Prizes
Metro Credit Union will award 25 (twenty-five) $500 Visa gift card prizes. The $500 Visa gift card prizes will be awarded in increments of 5 (five) each day between July 31, 2023, and August 4, 2023. Additionally, Metro Credit Union will award 2 (two) $1,000 Visa gift card prizes on August 5, 2023. Individuals are limited to one Visa gift card prize per day.
The odds of winning any Visa gift card are approximately 4,000:1. The exact odds are unknown because the total number of members, non-member entries and ineligible members (e.g., minor, employee and employee’s immediate family) as of July 28, 2023, is unknown.
6. Selection
Metro will hold Visa gift card drawings each day between July 31,2023 and August 5, 2023. The winners will be notified by phone and/or email and by mail after acceptance of the prize.
The winners will have 10 business days to respond to Metro Credit Union to claim their prize. If winners do not respond to the contact attempts from Metro Credit Union within 10 business days of the first attempt, the winners will forfeit their right to the prize and replacement winners will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries.
Metro Credit Union reserves the right to use an electronic method (e.g., computer program) of randomly selecting the winners at its sole discretion.
7. Taxes
Federal, State, and Local taxes are the responsibility of the sweepstakes winners. Metro Credit Union will report to the appropriate state and federal agencies as required by law. Entrants should discuss potential tax consequences with their tax advisor.
8. Limitations of Liability
By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless employees of Sponsor, and affiliated companies, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and employees (collectively “Releasees”) from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions and any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or non-use of the prizes that may be awarded. This Sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska without regard to its principles of conflicts of law and jurisdiction and venue shall be solely within the State of Nebraska. Releasees are not responsible for technical, computer, mechanical, printing, typographical, human or other errors relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize, the Official Rules, or in any Sweepstakes related advertising or materials; or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, inaccurate, undelivered, delayed or illegible entries; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error, failure to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including computer, telephone, paper transfer, or human or other error. If in Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if computer viruses, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor, at its exclusive discretion reserve the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and/or void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, or to terminate the Sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all eligible non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. As a condition of participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree that: a) under no circumstances will they be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; b) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or the prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and c) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred and in no event be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees or other legal costs. Sponsor reserves the right to modify prize award procedures.
9. Publicity
Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
10. Entrant’s Personal Information
Information collected from entrants is subject to the Metro Credit Union Privacy Policy.
