Recreational Vehicle Loans

Financing for Your Next Adventure

At Metro Credit Union, we offer more than great rates on auto loans. We also offer competitive rates for your recreational vehicles. Whether you're headed to the lake, gearing up for a ride, or planning your next road trip, Metro can help you finance the vehicle that gets you there. Finance your next one with us, or refinance what you already own to get more out of your investment.

What Metro Finances

Whether you're buying new or used, Metro finances the vehicles that get you outdoors. That includes boats, jet skis, motorcycles, ATVs, and RVs from travel trailers to motorhomes. Financing and refinancing are both available, so you can buy your next one or lower the rate on what you already own.

Why Finance Your Adventure with Metro

Competitive Rates on Every Toy

From a fishing boat to a touring motorcycle or off-road vehicle, to a family RV, competitive rates across all recreational loans mean more of your budget goes toward the adventure.

Terms That Fit the Purchase

With terms ranging from 24 to 120 months, you can match your monthly payment to your budget and the kind of vehicle you're financing.

Buy New, Used, or Refinance

Whether you've found the one you want or you're looking to lower the rate on a boat, jet ski, bike, or RV you already own, Metro can finance it.

Local Decisions from Omaha Bankers

Your loan is reviewed by people who know the Omaha market, not a distant call center. You get guidance from someone who understands what these purchases mean to you.

Recreational Vehicle Loan FAQs

What types of recreational vehicles does Metro finance?

Metro finances boats, jet skis, motorcycles and other on-road bikes, ATVs, and RVs including travel trailers and motorhomes. If you're not sure whether your vehicle qualifies, a Metro banker can tell you.

Can I finance a used boat, motorcycle, or RV?

Yes. Metro finances both new and used recreational vehicles, so you have options whether you're buying from a dealer or a private seller. A banker can walk you through what's needed for a used purchase.

How long are the loan terms?

Terms range from 24 to 120 months, depending on the vehicle and the loan amount. A longer term lowers your monthly payment but usually costs more in interest over the life of the loan, and a shorter term does the opposite. Current rates by term are listed on our rates page.

Can I refinance my current recreational loan from another lender?

Yes. If you're carrying a recreational vehicle loan from another lender, refinancing with Metro may lower your rate or your monthly payment, depending on your situation.

Are recreational loan rates different from auto loan rates?

They can be. Rates vary by the type of collateral, so a boat, jet ski, motorcycle, ATV, or RV loan may carry a different rate than an auto loan. You can see current rates for each on our rates page. All loans are subject to credit approval.

What do I need to apply?

Having your information ready makes the application go faster. You'll generally need your personal details, including your contact and basic demographic information, along with your employment and income information and details on the vehicle you're financing

  • I've been a member for over 20 years, starting when I worked at Clarkson Hospital. We've always found Metro's rates to be among the best in the area. When my kids were young, they loved the member appreciation events. Now my son and daughter-in-law are members too.

  • I first joined Metro in 1978 and was approved to buy my first home. In 1990, when the chance came to buy my neighbor's house, I was able to sell mine and get a new loan through Metro. As a single mom working at a grocery store, I never dreamed I'd qualify for a home loan. I'm still a member today, and I'm so grateful they trusted me. Member for 48 years.

  • I joined Metro in 1986 while working as a chaplain at Midlands Hospital in Papillon. At the time, our paychecks were deposited directly at Metro, which meant no more picking up checks late or driving them to another bank. It was a game changer. In the years since, I've gotten car loans, set up online banking, and gotten help with Visa cards, all without hassle or extra costs. I've moved all over the country in the past 40 years, but I've always stayed with Metro.
