Yeti Cooler Prize Package

This year each branch will be giving away a prize package of summer-themed goodies. Simply fill out a ticket and put it in the drop box when you stop in during Member Days. On Monday, August 4, each branch will draw a winner at random and notify them directly.

The package includes a rollup picnic blanket with a handle for easy carrying and storage, two stainless-steel vacuum sealed tumblers for hot and cold drinks, a portable, waterproof Bluetooth speaker, a hammock, and other fun items, all stored inside a Yeti Tundra 44 Hard Cooler!

Each day throughout Member Days we will give away five $250 Visa gift cards! Submit your information below to entered into this drawing. If your name is drawn, we will reach out to you directly to coordinate delivery of your gift card. If your name is not drawn, it will roll over to the next day's drawing automatically.

The Metro Credit Union Metro Days Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) Official Rules

NO PURCHASE, APPLICATION, OR USE OF SERVICES ARE NECESSARY TO WIN. A PURCHASE, APPLICATION, OR USE OF SERVICES WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

 1. Sweepstakes Period

Sweepstakes begins 12:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on July 28, 2025, and ends 4:00 p.m. CT on August 1, 2025. 

2. Eligibility

This sweepstakes is open to consumers who are legal U.S. residents residing in any of the fifty (50) states, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older with a unique, personal and valid government issued identification at the time of entry. All participants must accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor. Void in Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited by law. Employees and members of the Board of Directors of Metro CU Federal Credit Union (Metro Credit Union) are not eligible. Additionally, the immediate family (i.e., spouse, parents and step-parents, and children and step-children) of Metro Credit Union Executives are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes an entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

4. How to Enter

Online Entry (Visa Gift Cards Only)
Members in good standing as of July 19, 2025, may submit one entry at www.metrofcu.org/member-days between July 28 and August 1, 2025. Multiple entries will not improve your chances of winning.

In-Branch Entry (Yeti Prize Packs)
Members in good standing as of July 19, 2025, may submit one entry by visiting any Metro Credit Union branch and filling out an official entry slip for a chance to win a Grand Prize (one per branch).

Mail-In Entry (Visa Gift Cards and Yeti Prize Packs)
Members and non-members may also submit one entry by U.S. mail. On a postcard or card that is 3.5 x 5 inches or larger, legibly handwrite the words “The Metro Credit Union Metro Days Sweepstakes,” along with your complete name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and date of birth. Mail with proper postage to:

Mailed entries must be received no later than July 31, 2025. Sponsor will not verify receipt of entries. Multiple entries will not improve your chances of winning. All entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

No entries will be accepted via email, phone call to a branch representative, or call center representative. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute regarding any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used will be deemed the registrant. Sponsor reserves the right to contact entrants and any individuals whose email address is submitted as part of this Sweepstakes.

5. Prizes
Metro Credit Union will award the following prizes during the Sweepstakes:

Daily Visa Gift Card Drawings:
A total of 25 (twenty-five) $250 Visa gift cards will be awarded—five (5) winners will be selected each day from July 28 through August 1, 2025. This pool of winners will be selected from online and mailed entries only.

Grand Prizes (One Per Branch):
Five (5) Yeti Cooler Prize Packages, each valued at $473, will be awarded on August 4, 2025—one per participating branch. Each cooler is packed with summer-themed goodies. This pool of winners will be selected from in-branch and mailed entries only. Mailed entries will be included in the drawing at our main branch, located at 14509 F Street, Omaha, NE 68137.

Participants are limited to winning one prize per day. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Because the number of entries from members, non-members, and ineligible participants (e.g., minors, employees, and immediate family members of employees) is unknown, the odds cannot be determined in advance.

6. Selection

Metro will hold Visa gift card drawings each day from July 28 through August 1, 2025, and Yeti Cooler Prize Package drawings on August 4, 2025. Winners will be notified by phone and/or email. Written confirmation may be sent by mail following prize acceptance.

Winners will have five (5) business days to respond to Metro Credit Union in order to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within five (5) business days of the first contact attempt, the prize will be forfeited and a replacement winner will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries.

Metro Credit Union reserves the right to use an electronic method (e.g., computer program) to randomly select winners at its sole discretion.

7. Taxes

Federal, State, and Local taxes are the responsibility of the sweepstakes winners. Metro Credit Union will report to the appropriate state and federal agencies as required by law. Entrants should discuss potential tax consequences with their tax advisor. 

8. Limitations of Liability 

By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless employees of Sponsor, and affiliated companies, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and employees (collectively “Releasees”) from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions and any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or non-use of the prizes that may be awarded. This Sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska without regard to its principles of conflicts of law and jurisdiction and venue shall be solely within the State of Nebraska. Releasees are not responsible for technical, computer, mechanical, printing, typographical, human or other errors relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize, the Official Rules, or in any Sweepstakes related advertising or materials; or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, inaccurate, undelivered, delayed or illegible entries; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error, failure to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including computer, telephone, paper transfer, or human or other error. If in Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if computer viruses, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor, at its exclusive discretion reserve the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and/or void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, or to terminate the Sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all eligible non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. As a condition of participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree that: a) under no circumstances will they be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; b) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or the prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and c) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred and in no event be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees or other legal costs. Sponsor reserves the right to modify prize award procedures. 

9. Publicity 

Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winners’ consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.

10. Entrant’s Personal Information

Information collected from entrants is subject to the Metro Credit Union Privacy Policy which you can see by clicking Metro Credit Union Privacy Policy.

11. Sweepstakes Results. 

For Sweepstakes results, please see Metrofcu.org/member-days. The results will be available on our website for at least 30 days after the sweepstakes’ official end.
