eStatement FAQs

What is an eStatement?

Metro’s eStatement service provides electronic delivery of your Savings, Checking, VISA and HELOC statements. eStatements take the place of your printed statement.

Is there a cost associated with eStatements?
eStatements are provided FREE of charge. In most cases you can expect your eStatement days before paper statements would arrive.

How do I register for eStatements?

If You Already Receive Paper Statements:
To register for eStatements on an account that currently receives paper statements, simply log-in to on-line banking and click the “eStatement” link on the left hand side of the screen and follow the quick and easy prompts.

If You Have Not Received A Paper Statement Previously:
Contact your friendly Financial Service Representative to get started receiving eStatements.

How do I receive my eStatement?

To receive your eStatement, simply log-in to on-line banking and select the “eStatement” link on the left hand side of your screen.

How do I cancel my eStatements?
In order to cancel eStatements, contact your friendly Financial Service Representative.

How long will my eStatements be available on-line?
eStatements will be available on-line for 13 months.

May I receive a paper statement as well as an eStatement?
Members can only receive a paper statement or electronic statement, not both.

Will I be notified when my eStatement is available?
You can be notified by e-mail when your eStatement is ready to be viewed.

What if I choose not to receive e-mail notifications?
If you choose not to receive e-mail notifications you will still be able to access your statement on-line. The e-mail notification is simply a courtesy from Metro to let you know when your eStatement is available for viewing.

Why am I asked to provide my e-mail address?
Like phone numbers and mailing addresses, Metro needs to keep e-mail addresses on file and current. By having a current e-mail on file, Metro can notify you quickly and efficiently. Plus, you have the option to receive an e-mail notification when your statement is ready. Of course, your e-mail address is kept confidential.

How do I change my e-mail address?
You can change your e-mail address on-line by selecting the “eStatements” link in on-line banking. Next select “My Profile” in the eStatement screen. Finally, click “Personal Details” and update your e-mail address and select “Apply.”

Also, you need to update your e-mail address in on-line banking at metrofcu.org by clicking “Member Options” located in the left hand column.

May I have my e-mail notification mailed to multiple e-mail addresses?
For security reasons, members can set eStatements to be delivered to only one e-mail address.
